On 10th December 2018, the Ambassador of France to the United Arab Emirates, H.E. Ludovic Pouille received about 80 French young professionals in the Residence of France in Abu Dhabi, on the occasion of the Grand Prix 2018 award ceremony for young professionals and Small and Medium innovative Enterprises.
Organized by Business France, the ceremony was attended by H.E. Ludovic Pouille, Ambassador of France to the U.A.E, Mrs. Raja Rabia, Consul General of France in Dubaï, Mr. Philippe Chatignoux, regional economic counselor, Mr. Mikail Houari, chairman of the U.A.E section for the Foreign Trade Advisors (CCE) of France, Mr. Marc Cagnard, Managing Director Middle East Business France and Mrs. Anne Le Guennec, CEO of Enova by Veolia in the Middle-East and President of the French Business Group (FBG).
On the occasion, the Grand Prix has been rewarded to four young professionals:
– The gold medal was awarded to Romain Varoqueaux / Enova by Veolia
– The silver medal was awarded to Marin Bernaert / Thalès International
– The bronze medal was awarded to Antoine de Roquefeuil / Vranken-Pommery Monopole
– A special prize has been awarded to Quentin Bohn / Bostik – Arkema
The SME Grand Prix has been awarded to the French event company Fractal Systems, using innovative technologies to stage events.
Fostering French innovative companies in the United Arab Emirates
The Grand Prix for young professionals, taking place for its 9th edition, aims to award and enhance exceptional careers paths of French young graduates in the U.A.E, and promote the young professionals program among French companies and communities.
The SME Grand Prix, organized for its second time, provides support and encouragement of French SME to establish and prospect on the Emirati market; connecting them with the French economic network such as the United Arab Emirates section for the French Foreign Trade advisors (C.C.E.F).
